REGISTRY CELEBRATES RETIRED MEMBERS

The Registry Department on Monday 2nd March, 2020, glamorously celebrated four (4) of its retired Members. Three of them retired after attaining the stipulated age of sixty five (65) while one retired voluntarily from the services of the College. They celebrated members were - Mr Eric Lanre Irhiemi, Mrs J. O Ugonna, Mrs C.T Oke and Mrs R.B. Akinola.

The Deputy Provost, Dr R.A. Soyele representing the Provost applauded the retirees and appreciated the outgoing Registrar’s kind gesture adding that he had balanced situations at all times and that he was the type that carried people along in his administration. Also, he appreciated him for the value he had added to the Registry noting that, people came from far and near to tap from the College’s wealth of experience during his tenure. He therefore prayed for God’s guidance on the outgoing Registrar stressing that, the legacies he left behind would be built on. Dr Soyele thereafter solicited for support for the incoming Registrar, Dr Gabriel Adedayo Adebayo so that his tenure too would be fruitful.

The outgoing Registrar, Alhaji R.A. Akinola, while commenting on the retirees stated that they were worth being celebrated after they had meritoriously served the College. He therefore prayed that the registry would remain indivisible.

Responding on behalf of other celebrants, Mr Eric Lanre Irhiemi, a retired Deputy Registrar, appreciated the College Management and the entire Registry staff who had contributed to the success of the programme. Gifts were thereafter presented to the retirees.

At the retirement party were the Deputy Provost, Dr R.A Soyele; the outgoing and incoming Registrars, Alhaji R.A. Akinola and Dr G.A Adebayo respectively; Chairman Committee of Deans and Dean School of Arts and Social Sciences, Mr S.A Makinde; the College Librarian, Dr G.O Oyewole; Deputy Registrars and Assistant Deputy Registrars; Registry Staff from CONTEDISS nine to fifteen.
